This IT building is a built-to-suit office for a reputed IT company. It is an example of an energy efficient practical layout which separates the linear building floor plate into two independent wings that can operate in isolation to other wings.
The formal visitor’s entry is accentuated with locally sourced red sandstone cladding leading to the reception lobby while the staff movement is facilitated through a rear parking and staff entry.
The ground level houses the cafeteria and breakout networking spaces with extension to the garden.
Among other active energy efficient systems, the building is equipped with a 100KW solar plant. The heat gain from its longer east west facades is minimized through use of ribbon windows and punctuated façade. The floor form results in minimal core area and optimizes efficiency.
