The project is a detailed exercise in sustainable design resulting in a LEED gold rated certification. The boutique hotel clads with a ventilated façade and the roof covered with raised wooden decking makes the envelope highly insulated passively.
An atrium design with full heighted glazing to its north brings in ample diffused natural light to the main lobby and corridors and opens magnificent views to the rolling landscapes of the Ridge outside. This feature also allows the rooftop to be well used for pool and other activities. The active energy systems are designed using highly energy efficient technologies in lighting and air-conditioning further add to the sustainable design.
