Laghu Udyog Bharati is a non-profit pan India organization with the aim of empowering Micro and Small enterprises in the country since its formation in 1994.
The project is designed to have a MSME center, a start-up incubation lab, a design clinic, knowledge sharing center, and an export promotion cell. These objectives are supported with a business center, resource library and visitor accommodation facilities.
The design of the Centre evolves from juxtaposing blocks of the building creating self-shaded elements and voids.
The external charter of the building is also a juxtaposition of the older stone facades and screens at lower levels with more contemporary textured walls above punctuated with a composition of window openings.
